After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Dr. Abbey received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.

Family brought Dr. Abbey back to Milwaukee to practice dentistry. She & her husband have two beautiful children whom they adore. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family playing tennis, bike riding, traveling, picnicking in the park, playing golf with her husband & singing & reading with her children. And we should mention that she is known to hum a song or two while working!
